“I first saw a picture of a yellow lab that Meg had drawn on a Facebook page and I thought, I have to get her to draw a picture of my boyfriends dog Jax. At the time I contacted Meg, Jax wasn’t in the best health and I wasn’t sure if he was going to make it, so I wanted to get my boyfriend something to remember him by. Meg was so wonderful and easy to work with and she knocked the portrait of Jax out of the park!! “I first saw a portrait Meg had done on FB, a friends dog. She captured him so beautifully. I wanted to do a portrait of our 2 older dogs. At this time both of them were still with us. I contacted Meg for information and told her I’d be back in touch. Fast forward to Covid hitting. During this time our yellow lab Corkie was diagnosed with liver cancer and passed not even 2 weeks later. That was 11/2020. We got through the holidays and our Chocolate lab Buddy was declining and we lost him in 2/2021. My friends knew I wanted their portrait so they got together and gifted us a portrait. After all my discussion with Meg we decided on 2 portraits. She would send me updates and I would literally cry they were coming out so perfect. She has a heart of gold and her attention to detail is impeccable. When we got our final portraits I cried, holding my senior boys and just staring at them, was like actually having them right there with me.
